            Description

            It has been defined, that the new Dataprovider (DDP) shall be the only source for identity and hardware information. Historically, the Profinet FirmwareV4 has implemented Profinet firmware specific services for configuring data not available before this new definition came up. Since these services/fields are no more required, they are to be removed now. This incoporates the following changes:

            • Reject Set Configuration service if any of the fields "abOrderId" or "usHwRevision" are set to non-zero values
            • Set Port Mac address service (PNS_IF_SET_PORT_MAC_ADDR_REQ) is removed
            • Reject Set OEM Parameter Service 1 when field "abSerialNumber" is set to non-zero value
            • Reject Set OEM Parameter Service 14 when field "usHardwareRevision" is set to non-zero value
            • Reject Set OEM Parameter Service 15 when field "abOrderId" is set to non-zero value
