            Description

            The current Set OEM Parameter service of PNM API allows configuring the HW Revision reported by the device. This parameter however is to be set through DDP as required by PRODPNMV3-312. Therefore the Set OEM Parameter service for setting version numbers is to be changed to meet the new requirements.

            The existing service will be renamed and the hardware revision field obsoloted in the service data. The firmware will ignore the field value.
