      Description

      After a firmware update from

      • V5.4.0.3/V5.4.0.4 to a later version or
      • from an earlier version to V5.4.0.3/V5.4.0.4,

the device will lose its remanent data and therefore will fall back to its factory default settings. All previous changes to the devices's configuration (that are part of the remanent data) will then be lost and need to be re-applied (e.g. TCP/IP settings, Ethernet setting, etc.).

A firmware update from V5.4.0.3 to V5.4.0.4 would work. However, we recommend to not use these two versions in order to avoid loss of remanent data during future firmware updates.
