Description
The size of the remanent data was accidentally changed, causing it to become incompatible between hotfix versions.
Behavior: When updating the device's firmware to or from the below mentioned LFW versions, the remanent data gets lost and the device will fall back to its factory default configuration.
The issue has been introduced/released with the EtherNet/IP Core V3.8.0.8, which is integrated in
- EtherNet/IP Adapter LFWs V5.4.0.3 and V5.4.0.4
- EtherNet/IP Adapter LFWs V3.8.0.3
- EtherNet/IP Scanner LFWs V3.8.0.3
These LFW version shall not be used.
