            SPC Driver Ethernet (SPCDRIVERE)

            Description

            Driver Ethernet shall be extended by the functionality to configure Phys in a specific mode after a given timeout. This will ensure that the Phy is configured even if a protocol stack configuration is missing. This allows e.g. usage of Network services and ensures Daisy chain topologies.

            The following functionality is required:

            • configure timeout value (in seconds)
            • configure Phy configuration to apply on timeout
            • start timer

            If the timer expires, DrvEth shall check if the Phys have been configured. If they are not configured, the default configuration shall be applied by DrvEth. If the Phys are configured, DrvEth does not perform any action.
