            Description

            Mid_FatFormat always erases all flash sectors used for the filesystem (if the flash supports sector erasing, e.g. W25Q32), which takes more than 1 minute, while quick-formatting just takes some seconds.

            NOTE: When performing a quick format the content of unused sectors in the file system is unpredictable and will be initialized on first access.
