Description
In recent firmwares, the use of the system flag PNS_IF_SYSTEM_DISABLE_STORE_REMANENT_ENABLED in configuration has been deprecated in favor of a firmware taglist setting. However the system flag value is not checked against the taglist setting when validating the Set Configuration service request packet. In case an (existing) application sets the flag but the taglist setting is not set to pass remanent data to host, the firmware will silently store the data internally.
To avoid unexpected behavior, the firmware should reject a Set Configuration service packet when the flag PNS_IF_SYSTEM_DISABLE_STORE_REMANENT_ENABLED is set but the taglist is not configured to pass remanent data to the host.
