            Description

            The IP stack integrated in Profinet IO Device firmware offers support for Hilscher specific "netident protocol". This protocol canbe used to set the IP address of a Hilscher device.

            However, in Profinet world the IP Address is set by DCP protocol. The Hilscher tool able to configure IP address via netident is capable of setting the IP address via DCP as well.

            It was decided to completely remove support for netident protocol in Profinet IO Device V4 firmware.
