            Description

            The following product firmware shall always activate I&M5 in case I&M is handled by protocol stack:

            • cifX
            • comX
            • netJACK

            Current implementation only activates I&M5 if the firmware is executed on the expected hardware. Firmware used on wrong hardware platform (e.g. cifX firmware on evaluation board) does not activate I&M5.

            There are scenarios where specific Hilscher firmware is used on different hardware platform but I&M5 functionality is required.
