DPM callback to handle changing busstate does not work properly

Only changing bus state via driver functions does not work properly. due to the lack of bus state changing confirmation only the first request will be handled all subsequent requests are ignored. Additionally, If an error occurs while sending DPM BusState packet the error handling leads to an infinite recursion.
