            Description

            The configuration services for both, IO Controller as well as IO Devices, shall reject obviously invalid IP parameters.

            For example, using IP address 255.255.255.255 makes no sense. The same applies to network local multicast addresses (e.g. 192.168.0.255). The same applies for gateway address. In addition obvious invalid netmasks (e.g. 255.255.255.255) shall be rejected as well.
