            Description

            When an invalid sync frame is received the local receive timestamp is stored although the firmware later on ignores the frame. This will cause unexpected synchronization loss in case of usecase "Sync with FollowUp" when the invalid syncframe is received between the proper "Sync with FollowUp" and "FollowUp" frame.

            It is expected that an invalid sync frame is ignored and does not affect the operation of the synchronization statemachines.
