Description
When a burst of frames (ARP, IP) is passed vom Driver Ethernet to lwIP protocol unexpected frame drops might occur.
By design, the Driver Ethernet interface can handle stalled or overloaded applications by queuing / delaying frames until the application is ready again. However, in burst situations, the lwIP frame handler might drop frames internally instead of using Driver Ethernet's mechanism to defer frame processing.
It is expected that no resource related frame drops in lwIP occur and all frames passed by Driver Ethernet are handled properly.
