Out of switch buffers due to IP reassembling

    Details

    • Type: Bug
    • Status: Closed

    • Resolution: Fixed

      Description

When the device receives lots of IP fragments the LwIP stack might hold these fragments until it can reassemble the packet. As each fragment is associated with a switch buffer, these switch buffers are also locked in LwIP stack. Therefore, when lots of such fragments are received, the switch might run out of buffers.
Expected is that no such problem occurs.
