Description
starting with Profinet IO Specification v2.3 IO Devices may be configured to use a different coding for LLDP_ChassisID and LLDP_PortID.
In this case the LLDP_ChassisID contains a value that is not containig the Profinet NameOfStation, instead it contains the NameOfDevice.
The LLDP_PortID contains the NameOfStation and the PortID in this case.
The LLDP implementation shall be able to detect this kind of neighbors and deliver the correct values for PeerChassisID and PeerPortID to the Profinet stack.
