2-Port-Switch stops network communication in case of one Ethernet port is disabled and multicast or broadcast traffic is received on the non-disabled port.

If one of the 2-port-switch's Ethernet ports is disabled, it happens that the device stops all network related communication after some time. This occurs after several multicast or braodcast frames have been received on the non-disabled port. The device then needs to be power cycled.
