Device drops frames when used in a Device Level Ring topology (netx100)

If the device is running in a ring topology it might happen, that it drops frames that actually needs to be forwarded on the opposite port. This can lead to connection timeouts of other ring participants.
The issue shows up only when the ring is closed, not in linear mode.

The issue was originally observed with a netx50, but it shows up for netx100 too.
