The DPM Error Counter is not cleared on Channel Init, when the stack is configured by INIBATCH.NXD. After Channel Init the error counter always remains "1".
According to the Protocol API Ethernet/IP Adapter V2.5.x.x, Revision 10, 2012-01, p.44 - "Error Count (All Implementations): This field holds the total number of errors detected since power-up, respectively after reset. The protocol stack counts all sorts of errors in this field no matter if they were network related or caused". Therefore, after power cycling, system reset or channel init this counter must be set to zero.
