      Description

An actually closed implicit connection could be marked as "open" unexpectedly. In that case this connection cannot be opened anymore. The device will reject all forward open messages with extended status code 0x100 ("CONNECTION IN USE OR DUPLICATE FORWARD OPEN").

Opening other connections that use the same T2O connection path might also not be established (depending on the used connection parameters).

The issue can show up in case the implicit connection is closed and during closing another implicit connection gets established. On reception of process data of the newly established connection, the connection state of the closing connection might be set to "open" again.
