Description
Actually, the minor and major revision of a CIP device must not have a value of 0. However, in previous stack versions (before Core Version V2.4.0.3) value 0 was accepted.
After that version there was added a check to make sure minor and major revsion is greater that 0.
This change had side affects when configuration is doen using Sycon.NET, as this configuration tool per default sets minor revision to 0. Therefore, a default configuration generated with Sycon.NET was not accepted (the configured connection is ignored in that specific case).
Therefore, the minor and major check shall be deleted again. This can be done easily as these values are not further used by the stack.
