            Description

            This ticket shall be used to address all API manual related changes for which no dedicated ticket exists, because no source code change is addressed.

            EtherNet/IP Scanner API manual changes:

            • Add the "basic configuration packet set" section from the EtherNet/IP Adapter API manual since the firmware can run as EtherNet/IP Adapter as well. Section "3.1 Configuration methods" and section "3.3 Configuration using the packet API" should have the same look and feel in both manuals (adapter/scanner).

            EtherNet/IP Adapter and Scanner API manual changes:

            • remove blank pages
            • merge pages with little content
            • Packet API: use cross references more consistently, i.e. whenever a packet is mentioned (e.g. HIL_CHANNEL_INIT_REQ), it should be possible to jump directly to the packet description
