            Description

            Currently we only support padded EPATHs as function argument.
            It would be good to generalize it so that also packed EPATHs can be specified.
            The CIP_EPATH structure is not suitable for this since it encodes the path size in words. Maybe we need to change it or we need two different structures.

            A flag shall be included into the function arguments to specify whether the given path is expected to be packed or padded.
