            Description

            This has been implemented in at least three firmwares in a copy & paste manner: PSEIV3, PSEIV5 and LFW-IOT. This will be copied & pasted for all future firmwares. Therefore, it should be unified into the core component. If a firmware needs a more specific filter, it can still wrap the unificed function.
