Description
When a one-shot timer, such as the PIHT timer, is the first timer to start in the system, there is a potential issue where the timer subsystem may fail to continue firing. If this situation occurs, it results in the halt of data production and prevents the I/O connection’s receive timeout from occurring. As a consequence, the connection remains in a dysfunctional state indefinitely.
A software fix has been implemented to address this issue and ensure proper functioning of the timer subsystem.
