      Description

We identified a race condition in the feature that results in two connection indications being sent to the host application when a timeout and a regular forward close occur in parallel over the network.

This issue leads to an unexpected failure state in the firmware, as indicated by an underflow in the connection counters within the connection indication packet.

The issue will be addressed with a software fix for both the trunk and the latest release branch V3.8.0.x.
