Description
Reproduce:
1) Configure hostname with setconfig and set config control to static IP configuration.
2) When device is up, switch config control to BOOTP/DHCP and let BOOTP server assign a different, shorter, hostname.
3) Observer that the pad byte is not cleared, i..e. it still contains the value it had from the old hostname.
