      Description

ETG.5003 describes requirements for EtherCAT slave behavior when performing a firmware update via FoE (file over EtherCAT protocol).

Inherent in ETG.5003 is that the slave inhibit a master's request to transition from BOOT back to INIT state until it's confirmed that the firmware update was successful.

In other words, the slave's transition to INIT is a way to handshake with the master that firmware update went OK.
