            Description

            The bit DL_STATUS of the ECAT_IRQ can be used to improve the topology detection.
            In addition, we need a polling mechanism in case of some slave may be reduced in DL signaling functionality. Can it be determined at boot up whether a slave is limited in that way?
            This needs to work whether DC is used or not.
