Master does not handle slave states correctly after detecting a link loss between master and slaves

            Description

            This results into wrong restart behaviour when reconnecting the cable.

            Slaves are still shown to be in the former state when the bus has been disconnected.
            They will be set to OP for a short time and being restarted again.
