Description
The firmware shall be able to provide some Ethernet-related information about to the host system via the API interface.
Information needed are at least
- Ethernet Type (MAUType) (copper or fiber optics)
- meassured line length (CableDelay)
- damping for fiber optic MAUType (FiberOpticPowerBudgetType)
- which diagnosis exists for Port- or Interfacesubmodule (separate for local check and remote check)
