Stopping interface is not thread-safe and may lead to crash if keep-alive times out during detach event

During Detach event the interface is stopped. If at the same time the keep alive times out, the netXTransport tries to close the interface, if it has not yet detected the disconnect, resulting in Stop being called re-entrantly
