      Description

As cifXNDIS drivers only have limited support for power management, the device is either active or inactive.
Usually, configuration is done using cifXSetup of Hilscher Device Explorer where startup and shutdown is handled centrally (on/off).

PnP management however also expects a 'deactivated' state (e.g. greyed out in Windows Device Manager). Entering and leaving this state may trigger situations which lead to deadlocks on resource cleanup which cause hangs and may ultimately result in a BSOD.
