Driver deinitialization causes segmentation fault if default base directory is used

The drivers base directory, may be set to NULL to use the default location '/opt/cifX' (fallback). This setting causes a segmentation fault on deinitialization of the driver due to an invalid de-allocation operation. Scenarios with a valid base directory (!= NULL) are not affected by this issue.
