Changing of input/output length at the GeneralSettings Page after project is loaded leads to inconsistent data.

Instance stand alone ECATSlave. Save project, than load project again. Go to the GeneralSettings Page and edit Output[Input] Data Bytes.

Go to the Signal Configuration Page => the entries stays the same if length was reduced and new PDOs will be added if length was increased, regardless of whether PDO has used its capacity or not.
