Description
Test Description:
Test scenario:
- Check, if Gateway task provides actual status information - during data exchange and when communication error is active;
- Check, if Base network provides actual status information - during data exchange and when communication error is active;
- Check, if Sub network provides actual status information - during data exchange and when communication error is active;
Bug Description from Tester:
Station status can not be reset via NT50 DTM DeviceNet Master station diagnosis. "Unknown Command in Packet received" error is reported in netDevice status bar and Slave diagnosis is not cleared. /see the screen-shot attached below/
Steps to reproduce:
1. Download SSBL V1.4.15.0 and a recovery firmware to a blank NT50.
2. Set IP address to NT50 via the Ethernet Configuration tool.
3. Open SYCON.net
4. Place a proper DTM on the root bus line (NT50) and configure base and sub networks - DNMOMB.
5. Assign the netTAP DTM to the hardware.
6. Perform a standard firmware download - use N5DNMOMB.NXF.
7. Set IP address to NT50 via the Ethernet Configuration tool.
8. Download to NT50 a configuration with default DTM parameters and ensure that cyclic communication with partnering devices is successfully started.
9. Reset the 24V DeviceNet fieldbus power.
10. Connect the netTAP DTM to hardware.
11. Open the DeviceNet Master's diagnostic.
12. Go to the "Station Diagnosis" section.
13. Reset "Station Status" for all Slaves and check the result.
Expected result:
"Station Status" for all Slaves is reset successfully.
Actual result:
"Unknown Command in Packet received" error is reported and "Station Status" is not reset.
